Summary

This 17th century timber framed, wattle and daub and thatched building has a lobby entrance plan. It is built on a brick plinth and has a single storey and attic. Alternatively it has been interpreted as a hall house of around 1525 with upper floors inserted around 1590.

17th century wattle and daub on timber frame, now thatched. Lobby entrance plan, later subdivided, now restored as one house. Brick plinth, single storey and attic. Late windows and doors and later extensions. Bridging beams with diamond stops; winder staircase by stack; roof with spine beam and collars, latter inserted to support attic ceiling.

Suggests that the building is a hall house of around 1525 with upper floors inserted around 1590. However photographs show a beam dated 1692 which is not mentioned in the report.
