Summary

Fieldwalking in 1986 by the Fenland Survey recovered a concentration of late medieval pottery sherds, bone and shell as well as post medieval rubbish from an area set back a little from a possible medieval drove and a possible roddon.

12 March 1986. Fieldwalking on weathered ploughsoil.
Concentration of late medieval pottery (sparse), bone and shell also post medieval rubbish abundant and has discoloured soil. Set back a little from medieval drove and possibly on a roddon. 37m east to west x 32m north to south at 1.8m OD. (S1).
