Full Description
20 March 1986. Fieldwalking, well weathered ploughsoil. Field west of Dunluce.
Context 1: general scatter medieval sherds. Also one Late Saxon. WPA BV (S1).
Context 2: at 4975 1674. Concentration sparse to moderate medieval pot, ditto shell and sparse bone, as well as moderate/abundant post medieval rubbish. On top and east side roddon 52m northeast to southwest x 38m northwest to southeast at 3m OD. WPA 25 (S2).
Context 3 at 4972 1665. Concentration sparse medieval pot, very sparse bone sparse to moderate shell on side and top of roddon. Very little post medieval rubbish. Area 34m north to south x 25m at 3m OD. WPA 26 (S3).

Early 1991. Metal detector finds.
Medieval bronze harness pendant with attachment stud which has H-shaped lug. Circular pendant with loop.
Late medieval acorn-shaped harness mount with two spikes on row.
Domed stud with two attachment spikes on reverse (15th/16th century).
Also non-recorded post medieval finds.
