Moat (Ordnance Survey antiquity)
Ordnance Survey card (S1) says probably 19th century.
E. Rose (NAU).
Ordnance Survey card (S1) evidence for calling this moat 19th century is: 'The regular plan, firm causeway and topographical position in relation to the garden layout suggest this to be an ornamental moat of the Victorian period'.
