Full Description
December 1985 and February to March 1986. Hales Survey, Heckingham site 35.
Remains of market garden crop, and reeds.
Lava quern fragments (not collected).
Fifty six medieval unglazed including ginger jar rim, but predominantly 13th to 14th century.
Six medieval unglazed.
Three late medieval/transitional.
Three glazed red earthenware.

This area has been interpreted a a medieval settlement. Slightly higher than site 19, NHER 22664, separated from it by a recent shallow ditch.
