Summary

Metal detecting here in 1986 recovered a Roman lead steelyard weight and fragments from a medieval bronze bowl and skillet.

7 May 1986. Northwest of Skeyton Lodge. Found with metal detector.
Roman lead steelyard weight and lead waste.
Medieval bronze bowl fragment and sherds.
Also medieval bronze skillet handle with ring and dot decoration.
Sherds held by NCM, formerly by member of the public [1], who retains other finds.
