Full Description
Barn and attached cottage. Late 17th century. Timber frame, flint and brick plinth; clad in weather boarding, render and brick. Roof now asbestos. 3 stead barn, inserted 20th century floor. 2 storey cottage on west. South wall 19th century brick, east gable weather board. Central 20th century doors. Timber frame intact; oak studs with tension braces between jowled posts with arched braces to tiebeams. Queen struts from tiebeam to principal rafters. Upper purlins clasped, with single curved windbraces. Lower purlins staggered.
