Summary

This house is laid out as an open hall with a screens passage lobby. It dates to around 1630 and reatins its original chimneystack. Wings were added to the property in the 18th century and it underwent partial rebuilding after a fire in about 1900.

Listed Grade II 1981 as 17th-18th century a view shared by Alan Carter in report in file, in which he suggests 17th century block is 1630 even though he sees it as an open hall with screens passage and original chimneystack. 18th century wings. Part rebuilt after fire about 1900.
