June 1986. Surface finds. West of site NHER 7135.
Scatter:
One sherd ?Grimston, yellowish glaze external only. Several medieval sherds. Two stoneware sherds post medieval. Olive glazed sherd, glazed both sides, late medieval/early post medieval. Medieval unglazed include various orange and grey sherds. Base with flange appears post medieval as does rim with flanged lip but grey sherds could be earlier, perhaps Roman.
