Map

About 1983. Found in footings trench for new bungalow in Wellington Plantation.
Large backfilled feature, possibly a ditch, several feet deep and wide, with sand fill, interspersed by lines of sooty soil and charcoal. Soft patches encountered while driving in fence posts and ploughing field to west suggest that the ditch may run off to the northwest.
