May 1987. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description:
Pollard Street, 1-2 Grange Cottages, Bloodslat Lane
House now subdivided. Mid 17th century. Flint and brick, brick dressings, thatched roof, 2 storeys. Brick plinth. 20th century door and windows on ground floor; upper floor 20th century window left, then 18th century casement, 19th century in 17th century surround, and 2 light square 17th century. Parapet gables on kneelers, internal end stacks. Rear with 18th century fenestration except one five light mullioned casement on ground floor below similar 4 light on first floor, both 17th century. Inglenook fireplaces with bressumers.
Hollow and roll moulded spine beams.
