1981. 'From a piece of waste ground, now part of a housing estate, to the west of [1]'. Presumed metal detector finds.
Two silver pennies and one cut silver halfpenny of William I.
Two stars type (North 845), Profile/Cross and trefoils type (North 847) and cut halfpenny (Pax type, North 848 type I), Thetford mint, moneyer Aelfwine.
Information from member of the public [2], present location of coins unknown.
See (S1).
A. Gregory (NAU) 18 November 1986.

A. Gregory (NAU) suggests grid reference [3] as possible location. But this land was already built over long before 1981 and there does not seem to be any land that fits above description, unless the finds were made long before 1981 - or unless the site is really north of the extreme west end of [1], which may have been built up more recently.
E. Rose 25 (NAU) November 1986.

Extra information regarding the two stars type (North 845) above.
Thetford mint, moneyer Cinric, weight 0.85g, in three fragments.
A. Gregory (NAU) 16 December 1986.
