Summary

Fenland fieldwalking in November 1986 on a field north of Ketlam Drain uncovered a sparse to moderate concentration of prehistoric pot boilers.

21 November 1986. Fenland fieldwalking at location PEN 5 on (S1). Location on south facing slope above peat coloured hollow (north of Ketlam Drain). Ploughsoil here is well weathered.
A pot boiler concentration sparse to moderate found. Moderate to the east 80m (east-west) x 26m (north-south) at 6.7m OD.
