18 December 1986. Fenland fieldwalking, weathered ploughsoil.

Context 1: general scatter over that part of field that forms part of island; odd flints, not many. Reference NWD AF on (S1).

Context 2: at 7066 9745 concentration of pot boilers sparse, with a few flints. On edge of island. Area 15m (east-west) x 13m (north-south) at 2.1m OD. Reference NWD 9 on (S1).

Context 3: at 7053 9732 concentration moderate pot boilers on sandy loam ridge, two small patches one about 14m x 14m the other 10m x 6m. Overall 20m (north-south) x 12m (east-west) at 1.2m OD. Reference NWD 22 on (S1).
