Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a general scatter of prehistoric flint and ten concentrations of prehistoric burnt and worked flint indicative of prehistoric occupation sites. One of these concentrations was dated to the Early Neolithic. These are typical of clustered prehistoric fen edge sites. An augur survey revealed there are unlikely to be wet remains at the sites. More Neolithic worked flints and a Roman blue glass bead have also been found.
