Summary
In 1951 the continued extension to the Bonds (now John Lewis) store recovered a disused medieval flint well, and a 13th century glazed finial from a ridge tile, in the form of a horse's head.

Full Description
1951. Continued extension to Bonds store.
In disused medieval flint well under extension, 13th century glazed finial of ridge tile in form of a horse head. [1]
Similar to the one from Pachesham Manor, Leatherhead, Surrey.
