Fieldwalking and metal detecting in advance of the construction of Dickleburgh bypass recovered one prehistoric flint scraper, Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery fragments and an unidentified Roman coin.

Winter 1986. Fieldwalking bypass line - 'Field 5'.
Good conditions, light cereal, though part waterlogged.
Four sections 50m long.
Flint scraper; Roman micaceous and greyware; medieval to post medieval pottery. See file for details.
