Full Description
January 1987. Foot of cliff on top of fresh fall material. Northeast of site of old kiln.
Gold stater of Atrebates, weight 6.37g. Gallo Belgic C.
Information from member of the public [1].
See (S1). Photograph taken by NCM.
Identified by A. Gregory (NCM) January 1987
E.B. Green (NCM) 3 February 1987.
However A. Gregory (NCM) thought the coin was supposed to have come from a cliff fall behind the finder's garden.
Parish was given by NCM as Runton whereas grid reference is in Beeston Regis. Is there a mistake here?
E. Rose (NAU).
