Reused Roman material in folly.
Imitation 'Roman Fort' constructed by the late Sir Peter Roberts in 1970 or soon after, using genuine Roman stone slabs from cist burial at site NHER 1126.
Folly itself now an abandoned ruin, slabs clearly visible and also brickwork which could well be genuine Roman bricks reused.
