Pre 1986. 'From Hellesdon, Norwich'. NCM, no data.
Late Saxon subtriangular mount with narrow base, expanding above it to form lozenge shaped plate. Circular pierced terminal. Two iron rivets above base securing iron strip on reverse. Small flange runs length of base on reverse at right angles to body of mount. Mount decorated with four lozenge shaped fields roughly scored for ?inlay. Projecting
bosses along edge and in centre, and contour line border. Length 48mm.
