Map

25 February 1976. Air photography by NAU.
Earthworks. Ditched enclosure under grass.
Information from (S1).
D. Edwards (NAU), 2 April 1987.

1997. An east to west ditch and linking shorter north to south section with flanking bank are remnants of post-medieval enclosure boundaries. The junction of the two is now a garden of house called 'Rectory Meadow'.
The north to south section probably continued further north, but a short linking drain to the west originally joined to a subrectangular ditched enclosure with at least two rounded corners. Slight trace of ditch near junction with east to west link, and a slight shallow scarp may indicate part of the northern arm, which is probably aligned with another post-medieval enclosure boundary. No surface evidence for the bulk of feature.
Sketch plot (S2) at 1:2500 in file.
B.Cushion (NLA), September 1997.
