Summary

A timber framed house, which probably dates from before the 17th century, and which was largely rebuilt in the mid 18th century. This was the former home of Francis Blomefield, the famous Norfolk historian, and rector of Fersfield.

House, largely of 1755, but one pile older; in form resembles 17th century lobby entrance 2 cell plan, but some indications that the stack was inserted into an older frame.
The former home of Francis Blomfield, the Norfolk historian, who was rector of Fersfield.
