Full Description
17 April 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, cereal at different stages of growth. [1].
Context 1: general scatter odd medieval sherds from outside common. Site TYS CL.
Context 2: at [2] moderate spread medieval pot, and shell, with sparse to moderate bone and moderate quantities of post medieval material on a slight raised bump about 0.4m beside common. The mound appears to project into the common. Scatter 43m north-south x 41m east-west at 2.7m OD. Site TYS 60.

Medieval silver cross-shaped pendant.

The Late Saxon gold ring and the medieval silver pendant were both submitted for consideration as Treasure (Refs: 2021 T372 and 2021 T280 respectively).
