Summary

Fieldwalking in 1987 by the Fenland Survey recovered a general scatter of medieval pottery sherds and one Late Saxon sherd from this field. A concentration of medieval pottery sherds and shell fragments was also noted on the side of a large possible roddon.

Context 1: general scatter odd medieval sherds and one Late Saxon. WMV CD (S1).
Context 2 at 6047 1558: concentration of medieval pottery sparse to moderate with sparse shell, on side of large ?roddon 33m north to south x 32m east to west at 2.7m OD. WMV 28.
