Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a scatter of prehistoric worked flints (including blades) and a concentration of prehistoric burnt flints.

19 March 1987. Fenland fieldwalking. Field three fields southwest of Smith's Drove.
Drilled and well weathered.

Context 1.
General scatter flints all on stony sandy loam. FWL EL.

Context 2 at 6320 8903.
Scatter pot boilers on northeast side of island; not enough for a concentration. Couple of flint blades, collected as part of context 1 (FWL EL) in fact came from edge of this scatter. About 20m northwest to southeast x 6m FWL EO.
