Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a scatter of prehistoric worked flints. Two concentrations of prehistoric burnt and worked flints were recorded. These are indicative of occupation.

Odd flints scattered over field.

Context 2 at 7096 9585. MTW 126.
Concentration of pot boilers moderate on ridge of chalky loam. Covers most of ridge. Maximum 40m northwest to southeast x 21m northeast to southwest at 1.1m OD.

Context 3 at 7116 9595. MTW 127.
Concentration of flints and pot boilers both sparse on edge of mineral soil ridge of chalky loam. Maximum 29m northwest to southeast x 24m northeast to southwest at 1.5m OD.
