Summary

Metal detecting in 1987 and 1993 recovered Roman coins and pottery fragments. A piece of medieval pottery was found in earthworks in 1998.

Silver denarius, commemorative Antoninus Pius (Seaby 1201) DIVVS ANTONINVS. Reverse; CONSECRATIO and eagle standing right on altar, head turned left.
