Summary

In 1987 large quantities of Roman pottery sherds, several Roman coins and a bronze pin were found in this area. As the exact findspot is unknown it is possible that these finds relate to NHER 17524 and NHER 21161.

May - June 1987. Found in ground disturbed by root-grubbing in large area of clear-felled forestry, on top of low rise above it.
Large quantities of large sherds of fresh Roman pottery, some Roman coins, and at least one bronze pin.
Finders uncertain and exact findspot uncertain.

29 June 1987. Spot described by [1] visited, but no pottery found.
Note other finds of Roman material in vicinity, NHER 17524 and NHER 21161 are very vague findspots, and these three could be connected.
