Summary

A metal detectorist has found prehistoric, Roman and medieval objects. They include two prehistoric flint flakes, Neolithic or Iron Age pottery and a Roman coin.

April 1987. Found in fieldwalking with metal detector.
West side of road northwest of Sunday School on Ordnance Survey 6 inch map (S1).
See [1]. Two flint flakes. Late medieval bronze purse frame with zigzag decoration, probably once inlaid with niello (NCM find no 90). Identified by S. Margeson (NCM).
