This is the site of an Iron Age settlement, and prehistoric flints and Iron Age pottery has been found by fieldwalking.

Early 1987. Site BB 786. Fieldwalking, rapid, beet about 4cm high. Very dry soil, poor to medium conditions.

3 flints.
110 gritty and sandy, predominantly former, Iron Age. Only 2 decorated. Includes some large sherds.
2 shelly, thick walled, probably hand made, perhaps Iron Age.
