Summer 1987. Surface find on ploughed field.
Part of a part-polished flint axehead in grey flint with thick chalk patina, pointed butt, sides more or less parallel. Maximum width 55mm, length 95mm surviving. Surfaces predominantly chipped, with traces of polish on high points.
