Full Description
Summer-Autumn 1987. Surface collection. Land southwest of Manor Farm, in northwest angle of field beyond track
Concentration of pottery suggesting medieval-post medieval occupation.
Six medieval unglazed.
Two glazed Grimston + one possible.
Six late medieval/Trans.
Fourteen glazed red earthenware.
Four post medieval stoneware.
Bronze cauldron rim, two joining fragments.
Iron knife, probably post medieval (disintegrating and not retained). Held by NCM, formerly by member of the public [1].
