Summary

During 1987 and 1989 a number of prehistoric flint flakes, Roman and medieval pottery sherds were found on the surface here. A further piece of burnt flint was discovered in 2010.

October 1987. Surface finds over strip about 100m north to south. Southeast of Chimney Farm.
Two struck flint flakes.
Three Roman greyware body sherds.
Four medieval unglazed body sherds, one green glazed and one medieval brown glazed sherd.
