Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a scatter of prehistoric worked and burnt flint. This includes some post medieval gunflints. A concentration of prehistoric burnt flint was recorded. This is indicative of prehistoric occupation.

Context 3 at 7100 9610. MTW 143.
Concentration of pot boilers moderate and couple of flints not necessarily associated. On edge of pronounced ridge which runs along edge of upland spit. 37m east to west x 28m north to south at 1.1m OD.
