Full Description
Autumn 1987. Surface finds on field and in roadworks for new road.
General scatter of slag over area 200m by 100m and concentrations - see file.
No evidence for date, but note Roman iron working site NHER 24120 to northwest and undated slag found in intervening area in churchyard (NHER 3294), suggesting possibility of continuous area of iron working.
