Pre 1988. Fieldwalking finds.
Roman rear hook brooch, mid to late 1st century.
Saxon Early cruciform brooch 5th century.
Roman coin, Constantine I BEATA TRANQVILLITAS, AD 320 to 3.
Roman coin, Constans or Constantius II VICTORIAE DD AVGG QNN, AD 347 to 8.
Roman coin, House of Valentinian SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE, AD 364 to 378.

1989. Metal detecting.
Foot of small-long brooch (no.185), (S1), and bow/upper foot of small-long or cruciform brooch (no. 188), (S2).

Large scatter including NHER 17259, NHER 18298, NHER 18299, NHER 20246, NHER 20247, NHER 24348, NHER 29175 and NHER 29176. The number of Iron Age and Roman finds from this area suggests that this was the site of a settlement in the Iron Age and Roman period, although its exact nature is uncertain.
