January 1988. Metal detecting. 'In field opposite Wickhampton Church'.
Note that the map location is as near as can be obtained without a site visit. The real findspot might impinge on sites NHER 14773, NHER 14774 or NHER 14775.
Medieval bronze circular seal, illegible inscription, severely worn around edge, a crude eagle, wings spread, head left.
