Full Description
Mansion of about 1700 with a large and important barrel vaulted basement.
North wing added probably in the 18th century, south wing with a grand Regency ballroom.
Later 19th century alterations.
Former stable block, now in separate ownership, has clock and bell said to date to the late 16th century or the 17th century.
Grounds, once an important nursery, contain a unique cone shaped walled garden created by the horticulturist John Thurlow Dering.
