Summary

Metal detecting here in 1988 uncovered a range of medieval and post medieval period metal artefacts. Noteworthy finds comprised medieval pennies of Edwards I, II and III, a 'Jew's Harp' buckle and a post medieval slat spoon and jettons.

Bronze vessel leg; Edward I-III penny and halfpenny- London mints.
14th century 'Jew's Harp' buckle. Polaroid (S1) taken by NCM.
Lead bale-seal; 2 bronze rumbler bells; ?slat spoon (17th century); shoe buckle; bronze weight; post medieval jettons, post medieval metalwork.
