July 1988. Installation of surface water sewer west of Polka Road.
Observations indicated that sewer line lay south of south edge of postulated old harbour.
For details see 1:500 plan in file.
Spoil heap finds from two areas.
Context 1. One base. Four body sherds Grimston. Probably all glazed.
Context 2. Rim of Thetford-type ware jar.
