Summary
Metal detecting in 1988 on a spoil heap produced by the construction of the Thetford Bypass recovered Roman, medieval and post medieval coins. These included a penny of Henry III, a Charles II farthing and a William III sixpence.

Summer 1988. Finds during bypass construction. Spoilheap. Finder's map 5 numbers 1-2, 3-4 (not kept separate) and 5.
Long cross penny with sceptre, Henry III, moneyer Nicole Canterbury. 1247-72.
Halfpenny William III 1700.
Antoninianus, Carausius, PAX AVG 287-93.
Charles II farthing 1672.
