1988. Metal detecting on route of Thetford bypass.
Bronze object, cast. One end is hemispherical, globular centre and the other end is looped, Iron Age or Roman.
Bronze spring. Probably originally with 8-10 coils. From mid-1st century brooch.

In area previously occupied by site offices.
Discoidal lead weight with central hole, unknown date.
Rear hook brooch: part of wing, spring, pin and catchplate missing, moulded wings, central groove on brow in decorative zig-zag. Mid-late 1st century AD.
