Summary

This is the site of a deserted medieval settlement, which is visible on aerial photographs, but which has now been destroyed. Prehistoric flints and fragments of pottery dating from the Iron Age to the medieval periods have been found by fieldwalking. Metal detecting during 2007 recovered a Romano-British pin from a penannular brooch, an Early Saxon strap fitting, medieval coins and post medieval metal objects.
