Full Description
1853. Stray find.
One bronze haft flanged palstave in Wretton Fen, slight half oval ornament below stop ridge 6 1/8 inches (152mm).
The object is held by the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1908.22.7 : A).
This is probably one of the two bronze celts from Wretton in C. R. Manning Museum Catalogue (S3, f.16).
