Summary

Fieldwalking and metal-detecting in this field between 1989 and 2015 has recovered a range of finds including Mesolithic/Early Neolithic, Early Neolithic, Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age and undatable prehistoric worked flints; Late Saxon/medieval and medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins; an Early Saxon brooch and a post-medieval button.

1 Early Saxon cruciform brooch. Bow and foot only. Battered condition, old breaks, half of catchplate missing.
