Summary
Spice Hills Canal is thought to be a Roman period feature, visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs, and thought to approach and almost certainly join the Aylmer Roman canal (NHER 25333). A watching brief in 2001 recovered no evidence of this feature.

Full Description
Roman canal visible as earthwork (S1). It runs south west/north east line and appears to approach and almost certainly join the Aylmer Roman canal (NHER 25333).
