Summary

Metal detecting in 1989 recovered a medieval to post medieval spur fragment and a silvered bronze disc - probably part of a piece of 20th century jewellery.

August 1989. Metal detecting. Grid reference supplied by finder.
Rowel spur fragment. Short shank, late medieval or post medieval.
Silvered bronze disc. One side is copy of denarius of Nero, the other concave with impression of head and lettering. Probably from 20th century jewellery (identifed by E. B. Green (NCM)).
