2 January 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, weathered ploughsoil: Hempland Island.
Context 1 general field scatter. MTW CU.
Odd flints scattered randomly across island of stoney clayey loam. Also one sherd of prehistoric pot at 6849 9263 and two small groups of flint at 6862 9619 and 6861 9611.
