Full Description
September 1989. Field Observation. Defensive Structures Survey.
Tank trap. 1940. Rare.
Two concrete sockets in roadway to support ends of barrier remain on south approach of bridge. Other fragments thrown onto bank.

Concrete sockets for anti-tank rails are visible on either side of the bridge. See sketch plan (S2). These represent a simple road block on a minor stop line.
The concrete sockets were in poor condition at the time of survey.
There were also two spigot mortars here, but no signs were visible during the survey.
