Full Description
1 and 2 Market Place (or Friday Market Place)
Two jettied timber framed building; the southern (No. 1) late 16th century, somewhat high quality detailing, masked by 19th century facade. No. 2 is early 17th century addition, later altered for 19th to 20th century uses. Rear wing probably once part of separate 17th century house, now with 20th century attic storey.
